The DS Orthopedics team had a relevant participation in the 49th Brazilian Congress of Orthopedics and Traumatology. Dr Guilherme Sevá presented a paper on the shoulder arthrodesis technique for the treatment of brachial plexus injuries that provides excellent clinical results for selected patients. Dr. Guilherme has extensive experience in these lesions and is currently developing an advanced research protocol in this area.

In 2017 the Dr. Juliana attended one of the most popular international courses within the specialty of ankle and foot surgery. The advanced course on arthroscopy and treatment of sports injuries to the foot and ankle takes place at the University of Amsterdam and is taught by one of the world’s leading experts on the subject, Dr Niek Van Dijk.

The pioneering event in the field of dance orthopaedics took place at Moriah hospital at the inauguration event of the Specialized Center for Dance Injuries. A Dr. Juliana has specific training in this subject and coordinates the bailairinas outpatient clinic, part of the foot and ankle sports injuries outpatient clinic at the Sports Traumatology Center (CETE) of the Paulista School of Medicine.
